اتسمى بالأسم ده لأنه موجود فوق الصخرة المشرفة وتحت الصخرة دى موجود كهف فيه محراب قديم بيقولو عليه مصلى الأنبياء والصخرة متحوطة من أيام الناصر محمد بن قلاوون [1]
وصف المصلى [تعديل]
المصلى عبارة عن بناء من الحجر على تخطيط ثمانى الأضلاع طول الضلع الواحد بتاعه اتناشر ونص متر؛ وجوه المثمن ده مثمن تانى وكل ضلع من أضلاعه متشالة على عمود وتمن أكتاف وجوه المتمن التانى فى دايرة طول القطر بتاعها عشرين متر وأربعة وأربعين سنتى ،اما بقى القبب التانية فهى علىشكل هيكل مركزى
- الصخرة:
عبارة عن قطع صخور كبيرة موجودة تحت القبة فى وسط المصلى طولها من فوق لتحت تمنتاشر متر ؛وعرضها من اليمين للشمال أربعتاشر متر وأعلى حته فيها عاليه عن الأرض بييجى متر ونص وحوليها درابزين من الخشب المنقوش والمدهون وجنب الدرابزين فى مصلى للنساء وليه أربع أبواب وبيفصل بينه وبين مصلى الرجالة سياج من الحديد المشبك
- المغارة:
والمغارة دى موجودة تحت الصخرة وبينزلها الناس من الناحية الجنوبية بحداشر سلمة وشكلها عامل زى المربع طول ضلعه ييجى أربع تمتار ونص والسقف فيه خرم اتساعه متر وعند الباب فى قنطرة معمولة بالرخام على عمودين
