Uncommitted is XIA's first single. It consists of title track "Uncommitted" and an oriental version of the title song of his Korean album Tarantallegra, which was released earlier in 2012. Both songs on this single are sung in English.[1] The R&B track "Uncommitted" was composed by Bruce 'Automatic' Vanderveer. The oriental version of "Tarantallegra" adding some Korean touch to the song by using the traditional Korean instrument kkwaenggwari and Xia also sang in Korean style towards the end of the song.[1][2] The music video for "Uncommitted" was directed by Ray Yeom and Marc Klasfeld featured actress/model Stefanie Uncles and was shot in Los Angeles.[3][4] Uncommitted was the twelfth biggest-selling album of 2012 according to Gaon, with sales of 127,620 copies.[5]
